Actress Shari Belafonte is partnering up with LoveProductionsUSA and Bolo Media on a docuseries about racism in the fashion industry.

Titled Black Cat Walking, the project will give audiences an in-depth look into the fashion industry and will feature other prolific Black supermodels. The docuseries will also explore the industry’s unjust treatment of Black people. WME is currently shopping the docuseries, which has accrued interest from networks and streamers looking to diversity their programming slates

Belafonte will executive produce Black Cat Walking alongside Bolo Media’s Kareem “Biggs” Burke and Wally Eltawashy and Love Productions USA’s Joe LaBracio and Al Edgington.

Belafonte, the daughter of Harry Belafonte, recently recurred on Apple TV’s The Morning Show and BET’s Tyler Perry’s Sistas.
