Brian Tyree Henry (“Atlanta,” “This Is Us”) and Kenneth Choi (“The People V. OJ Simpson”) have joined the ensemble cast for Drew Pearce’s much-anticipated directorial debut “Hotel Artemis.” Tyree and Choi join star Jodie Foster, as well as Sterling K. Brown, Charlie Day, Jenny Slate, Jeff Goldblum, Dave Bautista, Sofia Boutella, and Zachary Quinto in a project produced by Marc Platt (“La La Land,” “Grease: Live”) alongside Adam Siegel and The Ink Factory’s Stephen Cornwell and Simon Cornwell.

Penned by Pearce and set in the near future, “Hotel Artemis” follows a nurse (Foster) who runs an underground hospital for Los Angeles’ most sinister criminals, and finds that one of her patients is actually there to assassinate another.

No details on what roles the other actors have each signed up to play at this time.

Henry stars in FX’s “Atlanta” and has also appeared in NBC’s “This Is Us.” He is also in pre-production on Steve McQueen’s “Widows,” and earlier this year filmed three films, “Fam-i-ly,” “Irreplaceable You” and “White Boy Rick.” Choi stars in David Ayer’s “Bright” and will next be seen in Columbia Pictures’ “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” and Starz!’s “Counterpart.”

WME Global is handling U.S. rights. Lionsgate launched international sales on The Ink Factory financed and produced action thriller in Berlin last February.

Principal photography is set to begin this Thursday in Los Angeles.
