Now that Bridgerton Season 4 is in the rearview, the show has officially confirmed the couple that will be the lead for Season 5.
Taking the lead in Season 5 of the Netflix juggernaut will be Hannah Dodd as Francesca Stirling and Masali Baduza as Michaela Stirling.
Here’s the logline:
The fifth season of Bridgerton spotlights introverted middle daughter Francesca (Hannah Dodd). Two years after losing her beloved husband John, Fran decides to reenter the marriage mart for practical reasons. But when John’s cousin Michaela (Masali Baduza) returns to London to tend to the Kilmartin estate, Fran’s complicated feelings will have her questioning whether to stick to her pragmatic intentions or pursue her inner passions.

How many episodes will Season 5 have?
Season 5 will have eight episodes, filmed in London. Jess Brownell returns as showrunner and executive producer, with Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers, Tom Verica, and Chris Van Dusen also executive producing.
