Season 2 of The Witcher added Bridgerton star Adjoa Andoh and Brave New World star Cassie Clare.
Andoh will play priestess Nenneke and Clare will play sorceress Philippa Eilhart. Other new additions to the upcoming season include Graham McTavish, Liz Carr, Kevin Doyle, Simon Callow and Chris Fulton.
In Bridgerton, Andoh played the formidable Lady Danbury, who raised the Duke of Hastings, Simon Basset (Regé-Jean Page). In Brave New World, Clare plays Gamma Gracie, part of a strict world which tries to create a utopia through control of privacy.
The series stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, an assassin for hire who becomes part of a bigger prophecy in his magical world. The main cast also includes Ana Chalotra, Joey Batey and Freya Allan. Filming of the second season had to stop due to the pandemic, but resumed last August,.
