Brittany Renner may be one of the most reactionary figures in media and culture. The 2021 breakup of the 30-year-old author and businesswoman with PJ Tucker, which went viral, was the catalyst for her initial rise to fame.
She has always positioned herself as an open book and maintains that the views of others are meaningless. Renner isn’t embarrassed to talk about her life, past relationships, sexual experiences, or regrets.
In November, in good spirits, she disclosed the type of birth control she used on TikTok and added that she doesn’t intend to have children unless a man is willing to get down on one knee and propose to her. She continued by jokingly saying that she was manifesting her husband.
@thebrittanyrenner I’ll be giving you all updates periodically just touching base with how everything is going down there due to an overwhelming amount of people that are concerned about what I do with it 😽
On Thursday, Renner’s interview on the JustPearlyThings show went live, and the contentious social media personality refuted claims that her relationship with PJ Washington was predatory as a way of safeguarding her reputation. She also shocked the internet again when she denounced her sexual past. Unexpectedly, she even used words like “repulsive” and “disgusting” to describe some of her previous sexual encounters.
Renner professed that she is familiar with being the object of men’s lust but has never experienced the feeling of being appreciated by a man. She went on to explain that when questioned about her lack of romantic success, she always gives the same answer: that she has never placed a high enough value on herself. She also said she was done hiding and was ready to face her reality.
“I know what it’s like to be desired by men. I don’t know what it’s like to be valued by one,” she said. When people ask me why hasn’t it worked out with anyone? Well, because I’ve never valued myself,” Renner added. “I’ve been running from myself for a very long time. And I’m no longer drinking it away, eating it away, sleeping it away, f**king it away. I’m sitting with my s**t.”
Renner expressed disappointment with some of her earlier sex-related choices around the 30-minute mark of the interview. She wished she had been more selective when choosing sexual partners because of “soul ties” and “spiritual unification.”
“I hate how I’ve allowed myself to be used by men. And that came from a lack of self-worth,” Renner admitted. “I did not understand my value that I was born with. I didn’t. And I gave … Again. People look at sex differently, but sex is spiritual unification. At the end of the day, I don’t care how you spin it,” she said.
“It’s spiritual unification,” she continued. “And people that I shared my body with — when I think about my list — it’s repulsive. Because they didn’t deserve it, but that was an outcome of me discounting my worth.”
“And it’s disgusting. I hate even having that spiritual tie in any type of way. But yeah, I would absolutely change, sexually, how I move around,” she further explained how she felt about some of her choices.
We know Twitter was going to let the shots fly as soon as the post went up.
