Cameron Boyce’s final film, Runt, has been added to the Mammoth Film Festival. The film will make its world premiere there on February 29. Another public screening will be held on March 2.

Boyce stars in the film with Tichina Arnold, Nicole Elizabeth Berger, Jason Patric, Brianna Hildebrand and Aramis Knight.

The film is described as a “teen dramatic thriller” centering on “artistic-loner Cal (Boyce) and lone-wolf, principled Cecily (Berger). Cal lusts after Gabriella (Hildebrand), while he is being bullied by her boyfriend, Vic (Knight), and his group of goons and jocks. Coach Wilkes (Patric), the Principal (Arnold) and Spanish teacher Talley (Mitch Silpa) – the adult figures at the high school – repeatedly fail the kids that they should be helping. With the insights of Cecily, Cal finds himself making pivotal life choices that force him to choose between what’s right and what he’s willing to stand up to and fight for.”

Runt was directed by William Coakley and he wrote the script with Christian Van Gregg and Armand Constantine.

Boyce passed away last year after a seizure due to epilepsy.
