CBS can add another name to its ever-growing list of people dismissed due to inappropriate behavior. Deadline is reporting that Bob Kushell, who served as the showrunner for the upcoming comedy show Fam, was removed from the network over inappropriate behavior.
Deadline is reporting Kushell’s firing comes after the showrunner reportedly used inappropriate language in the writers room. Given that CBS axed former chairman Les Moonves over allegations of sexual misconduct, one can only speculate whether Kushell’s words pertained to harassment.
The news comes as Fam, which stars Tone Bell, Nina Dobrev and Sheryl Lee Ralph, completes its 13-episode first season, which is slated to premiere for the 2018-2019 television season.
Fam centers on a young woman (Dobrev) whose life with her fiance (Bell) is turned upside down when her half-sister moves in. No premiere date has been announced as of yet.
