Ava DuVernay’s Central Park Five limited series at Netflix continues to fill out its cast.

Jharrel Jerome, Jovan Adepo and Felicity Huffman have been cast.

They join Michael K. Williams, Vera Farmiga and John Leguizamo.

The series, debuting in 2019, will consist of four episodes, all written and directed by DuVernay.

Based on a true story that gripped the country, Central Park Five will chronicle the notorious case of five teenagers of color who were convicted of a rape they did not commit. The episodes will focus on the five teenagers from Harlem — Antron McCray, Kevin Richardson, Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana and Korey Wise. The series will span from the spring of 1989, when each was first questioned about the incident, to 2014 when they were exonerated and a settlement was reached with the city of New York.

Jerome has been cast as Wise, who was charged as an adult and spent 12 years in prison before being exonerated. Adepo will play McCray, who was released after serving a six-year prison sentence.

Huffman will portray Linda Fairstein, the prosecutor who led the sex crimes office for Manhattan’s district attorney at the time.

Jeff Skoll and Jonathan King from Participant Media, Oprah Winfrey/Harpo Films, Jane Rosenthal and Berry Welsh from Tribeca Productions and Ava DuVernay are executive producing.

Jerome, who starred in Barry Jenkins’ Moonlight, has also appeared in the festival features Monster and First Match and stars in Audience Network’s Stephen King series Mr. Mercedes. Adepo will star in the upcoming WWII Nazi horror pic Overlord and will star in Facebook’s Elizabeth Olsen series Sorry for Your Loss.
