Chloe Bailey recently stopped in her home city of Atlanta as part of her In Pieces tour. The city presented her with her very own honorary day, “Chloe Bailey Appreciation Day,” to congratulate her on her professional achievements.

“We did a great thing today. It warmed my heart to see Chlöe’s happiness. We showered her with that Atlanta love – Chloe Bailey Appreciation Day (a proclamation from the City of Atlanta),” Lisa Yolanda George, a publicist and facilitator of the event, wrote on Instagram.

The “Have Mercy” singer received a proclamation plaque during a ceremony held at Morehouse College on Saturday. She spoke to students about her latest album and gave them breakdowns of songs such as “Looze U,” “Make It Look Easy,” and “In Pieces,” Footwear News reported.

The proclamation was presented by Fulton County Commissioner Natalie Hall, who shared photographs of Bailey and herself posing on stage.

Not only did the city of Atlanta choose to honor Bailey, but she also reunited with her sister Halle on stage during her live performance.

“ATL love yall so much,” Bailey wrote on Instagram. I got to reunite with my best friend on stage and even have my own national day now (Chloe Day, April 22). Each night on tour has been so magical.”

The performer posted snapshots of her and Halle singing in electric blue bodysuits, a behind-the-scenes photo of herself posing with Missy Elliott and clips of her live performance.
