Thanks to Halle and Chloe Bailey’s eloquent and diverse hairstyles, fans have been on their necks to reveal their hidden locs-secret. It’s safe to say that the Bailey sisters have an elite hair squad who turn their beautiful locs into curls, buns, bone-straight looks, and even master laying wigs over them. Recently, Chloe recorded herself removing her Chaka-Kan-inspired wig after Disney’s The Little Mermaid premiere.

Chloe posted an unget-ready-with-me video titled “me vs the wig” on TikTok where she talks to her fans about lace front wigs. She explains that her curly fluffed-out hairstyle was a lace front wig she decided to wear for fun. She also noted that she is a rookie to the lace front game and that she did her research about taking it off.

“As a girl with locs, I’m new to the lace-front community,” she shares. “We’re going to see how I can get this off because I’m not trying to rip my edges off.”

Chloe and the wig were duking it out as she tried to tame the volume of the wig before applying castor oil to her edges. She explained to fans that her research concluded that castor oil would be ideal for lace frontal removal. After applying the oil to her edges, she realized it was taking longer than needed to remove it and opted for rubbing alcohol to pull the wig off.

Finally, the alcohol freed our girl from the hands of her lace wig.

“Success,” she cheered as she pulled it off.

Chloe is now an official member of the wig club; we can’t wait to see what look she tries next.
