Netflix has dropped the first look images for Dad Stop Embarrassing Me, the upcoming sitcom starring Jamie Foxx in his biggest television role in years.
Bentley Kyle Evans, a former showrunner on Martin who co-created The Jamie Foxx Show with Foxx, is the showrunner and executive producer for this series. The series is inspired by Foxx’s relationship with his daughter, Corinne Foxx, who will be a producer alongside Alex Avant. Ken Whittingham is the director for all of the episodes.
Here’s the official description; Brian Dixon (Jamie Foxx), successful business owner and bachelor, just unexpectedly became a full-time father to his teenage daughter Sasha (Kyla-Drew). Determined to turn over a new leaf, Brian’s going to need all the help he can get from his dad (David Alan Grier) and sister (Porscha Coleman) — and Sasha’s going to need all the help she can get learning how to fit into her new, lovingly imperfect home.
The series also stars David Alan Grier, Porscha Coleman, Jonathan Kite. Heather Hemmens and Valente Rodriguez will recur.
Check out the images below. The series drops April 14 on Netflix.
