Fresh off the news of Clyne Crawford’s firing from Lethal Weapon due to unprofessional on-set behavior, more news surrounding the beleaguered actor’s firing has arrived, courtesy of former co-star Damon Wayans. Following news that Lethal Weapon has been renewed for a third season, Wayans took to Twitter to air his side of the documented on-set tension between him and Crawford.

In a set of tweets posted last night (May 14), Wayans, who portrays Roger Murtaugh, posted a video in which he was hit in the head by shrapnel from a special effects explosion during the filming of an episode directed by Crawford. This incident is what sparked the contentious relationship between the duo and was captioned: “Now that the fate of the show is solidifed..I’d like to address the TWITTER outrage with this video and image to follow,” accompanied with a photo of Wayans grabbing the back of his head in apparent pain.

Wayans continued to delve into alarming detail regarding Crawford’s alleged on-set behavior, claiming that he made his female colleagues cry and physically assaulted Aliens actor Lance Henriksen by hitting him with a bottle of green tea and allegedly busting his mouth open. Crawford, who portrayed Martin Riggs, will be replaced by American Pie actor Sean William Scott for Lethal Weapon’s third season.

Wayans has since deleted his Twitter account. Check out the screencaps detailing his account of Crawford’s behavior below.
