BET+ has premiered a newly acquired series, Dark Money. The four-part series is written and executive produced by BAFTA-nominated writer Levi David Addai and directed by Lewis Arnold.

Dark Money tells the story of the Mensahs, a working-class family from North London whose youngest son, Isaac, returns home and reveals he was abused by a well-known filmmaker while he was abroad in Hollywood. In the aftermath, Isaac’s parents, Manny and Sam, decide to accept a substantial pay-off in return for their silence.

Dark Money was also produced by Erika Hossington, executive produced by George Faber and Mark Pybus for The Forge Entertainment and Lucy Richer for BBC One.

The cast of Dark Money includes BAFTA-nominated actor Babou Ceesay (Best of Enemies) and Jill Halfpenny (In The Club), Max Fincham (The Alienist), Rebecca Front (War and Peace), Susan Wokoma (Chewing Gum), Olive Gray (Home from Home), Ellen Thomas (EastEnders), Arnold Oceng (The Good Lie), Joseph May (Resident Evil), Rudi Dharmalingam (Our Girl) and Gary Beadle (EastEnders).
