Don’t call it a comeback–just like in its first season, season two of Netflix’s Dear White People has been awarded a 100 percent Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

“Dear White People‘s endearing excellence returns but with an added layer of emotional maturity that enhances the show’s powerful, relevant meditations on race relations in America,” states the review aggregator.

On Twitter, actor Antoinette Robertson, who plays Coco on Dear White People, celebrated by tweeting the news.

The show receiving 100 percent Certified Fresh ratings for its two seasons is exciting, but it probably isn’t a shock to die-hard fans, who have been with the series for its insightful, witty and intelligent discourse on the facets of black American identity in a dominantly white American world. But still, it’s nice to know that important television still gets recognized and lauded.

Dear White People, starring Logan Browning, Brandon P. Bell, DeRon Horton, Robinson, Ashley Blaine Featherson, Marque Richardson and John Patrick Amedori, is based on the 2014 film written and directed by Justin Simien. The series is available for streaming now.
