Dee Rees’ film, Mudbound, is getting all the buzz at the Toronto International Film Festival as it has a mighty good chance to bring home Oscars upon its Netflix debut in November.

In a Variety cover story with Rees and Mudbound actors Carey Mulligan and Mary J. Blige, Rees talked about her stars, and mentioned Garrett Hedlund should be the next James Bond.

When asked if she’d direct that film, she responded, “I totally would.”
