The fourth and final season of Doom Patrol will be back on Max on Oct. 12. The new trailer shows how the team is facing one last battle with Immortus and, wildly enough, a horde of zombie butts.
The midseason premiere finds the team putting their powers together to save themselves and the world as they battle weird butts and figure out how to regain their longevities. According to the official description:
In the series’ gripping final episodes, the Doom Patrol meet old friends and foes as they race to defeat Immortus and get back their longevities. Battling between saving the world and each other, the Doom Patrol are forced to face their deepest fears and decide if they are ready to let go of the past in order to take their future into their own hands… and away from the zombie butts.
The series stars Jovian Wade, Brendan Fraser, Matt Bomer, Diane Guerrero, April Bowlby, Sky Roberts, Riley Shanahan and Matthew Zuk.
Jeremy Carver serves as showrunner and executive produced by Carver, Greg Berlanti (via Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros.), Sarah Schechter, Chris Dingess and Tamara Becher-Wilkinson. The series is based on DC Comics characters created by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney and Bruno Premiani.
After the Oct. 12 series premiere, Doom Patrol will premiere one episode weekly until the series finale Nov. 9.
