Erykah Badu and Puma Curry rarely miss an opportunity to wear matching outfits. So the mother-daughter duo served looks and extravagance at a recent Marni launch party.
They snapped pictures wearing bright-colored patchwork looks – complete with statement hats and faux fur. The party celebrated Badu’s first capsule collection in collaboration with Marni’s creative director, Francesco Risso.
“SNEAK PEAK 👀… Layers of colors and buckets of love,” Badu wrote in an Instagram post. “Last Night in New York Francesco Risso and I had a soft launch party for my first collection with Marni – BADU for Marni. We celebrated all the hard work and easy breaths. Thank you, fam, for dropping by to touch us.”
Badu also thanked her daughter for being by her side.
“I love u, Puma Curry, for always supporting me. I see my value in you.”

Badu and Curry attended the 2023 Met Gala with Marni at the helm of their outfits for the evening. It is the second year in a row that Badu collaborated with the fashion house for the star-studded event.
