Pose star Indya Moore is starring in Escape Room: Tournament of Champions, the sequel to the 2019 thriller Escape Room. The new trailer shows Moore and returning star Taylor Russell fighting to stay alive in a sadistic killer’s deadly game of puzzles.
The Columbia Pictures film is directed by Adam Robitel and is written by Will Honley and Maria Melnik, Daniel Tuch and Oren Uziel with story by Christine Lavaf and Fritz Böhm. In the film, former Escape Room survivor Zoey (Russell) wants to make sure that the person behind the deadly game is finally put in jail. But during a fateful subway ride, she and the other passengers, including Moore’s Brianna, realize that they are in yet another game.

Escape Room: Tournament of Champions is the sequel to the box office hit psychological thriller that terrified audiences around the world. In this installment, six people unwittingly find themselves locked in another series of escape rooms, slowly uncovering what they have in common to survive…and discovering they’ve all played the game before.
The film also stars Logan Miller, Holland Roden, Thomas Cocquerel and Carlito Olivero and is set for a July 16 theatrical release.
Moore’s acting career has been steadily growing; aside from their series regular role on Pose as Angel Evangelista, Moore has also starred in Queen & Slim and Netflix film A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting. They have also voice acted in Cartoon Network’s Steven Universe and has been featured in several fashion campaigns thanks to their other career as a model.
Apart from the Escape Room franchise, Russell has starred in Netflix sci-fi series Lost in Space and film Waves. She can also be seen in films Words on Bathroom Walls, Dr. Bird’s Advice for Sad Poets, and the upcoming film Bones & All, which is currently filming.
