Warner Bros. has dropped the first trailer for their newly-titled Formula 1 film, F1, starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris.

The Apple Original Films project, distributed by Warner Bros., also stars Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo.

The film stars Pitt as “a former driver who returns to Formula 1 his teammate at APXGP, a fictional team on the grid. “

As the studios state, the film “is being shot during actual Grand Prix weekends as the team competes against the titans of the sport.”

Joseph Kosinski, the director of Top Gun: Maverick, directs and produces the film with Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman of Jerry Bruckheimer Films, as well as Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner for Plan B Entertainment, and Lewis Hamilton under his Dawn Apollo Films banner. This project is in collaboration with with Formula 1, including the 10 F1 teams and their drivers, the FIA and race promoters.

The film hits theaters on June 27, 2025.
