In a particularly memorable experience for one of the more well-known YouTubers, Darren Watkins Jr., also known as IShowSpeed, walked across the stage to receive his high school diploma

The streamer showed the entire experience through livestream, going as far as to express his excitement and share the news of his milestone across various social media platforms.

Positioned in the front row, Speed — sporting a distinctive blue academic regalia — is seen watching his fellow students as they are brought on stage before being called upon by the faculty himself, eagerly making his way up to accept his graduation certificate.

“Yo! Go f**king man,” he said. “Finally, bro. No more f**king school, man! We out! We f**king out! I’m done with high school!”

After receiving the diploma, Speed surprised fans by executing a celebratory backflip to commemorate the occasion. As he exited the school premises, he addressed his fan community directly.

“I am done with the school. But, look, chat. Put the W’s, in the chat, bro! I just wanted to show y’all me graduating, bro. I’m done with school, bro,” he kept reiterating.

“That’s pretty dope! Yeah, bro, my mom’s still here but don’t want to be on camera, and my sister is on the side, too—my uncle. Yeah,” he said, acknowledging the family accompanying him on the special day.

The Breakout Streamer of the Year’s milestone quickly went viral on Twitter, with several people commenting on the trending video.

“Graduating making more than all his teachers combined,” one user wrote, pointing out the wealth he has amassed compared to what his teachers likely make.

“Still can’t believe this guy is a kid. Always thought he was an adult,” another user tweeted, echoing many others who couldn’t fathom Speed was as young as a high school student.

“Nice work, young man! He[’s] a little too much for my taste, but the young cats love him, and any human achieving things like this is a blessing. Respect where it’s due. Well done bro,” one user commented, one of the more positive comments to arise from the circulating posts about his graduation.

During the livestream, many comments praised the YouTuber’s success.

“Dang, he really graduated high school while barking at his computer for [the] last 2-3 years, visiting the damn world while in the process of becoming a millionaire. That’s some life he is living, man,” one person commented.

IShowSpeed joined the video-sharing platform in 2016, quickly gaining recognition and popularity for his dynamic personality and captivating content, resulting in him gaining over 16.9 million subscribers.

Since becoming a rising star within the gaming community, Speed has frequently collaborated with other popular streamers such as Adin Ross and Kai Cenat.
