While Billy Porter and Jharrel Jerome were making history at the Emmy Awards on Sunday, Dorian Hunter also made history on MasterChef.

The tenth season of the long-running cooking competition concluded with Hunter being declared the winner, taking home a quarter of a million dollars. This makes Hunter, who is Georgia-bred, the first Black woman to win MasterChef.

In case you’re wondering, Hunter’s winning dish was seared sea scallops with cornmeal tuile, sweet corn puree and pickled Swiss chard, Applewood smoked short rib with potato and horseradish gratin, topped off with lemon blueberry tart as the dessert.

Created by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, MasterChef premiered in July 2010 but has never had a Black woman win the competition throughout its nine-year run, until now. Congrats, Dorian!
