This might make your week, your month, or your year–an all-Black reading of Friends is going to happen.

The reading will be hosted by Gabrielle Union and directed by Salli Richardson-Whitfield. The event, part of the Zoom Where It Happens series of virtual readings, will take place Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. ET.

The cast will include Sterling K. Brown, Ryan Michelle Bathe, Aisha Hinds, Jeremy Pope, Uzo Aduba and Kendrick Sampson. The event is also in collaboration with Zoom and supports When We All Vote, “a national, nonpartisan, nonprofit on a mission to change the culture around voting by bringing together citizens, brands, and organizations to increase participation in every election,” according to the Zoom Where It Happens page.

Aduba will play Phoebe, Bathe will be Rachel and Hinds portray Monica. Brown will be Ross Ross, Sampson will read as Joey and Pope will be Chandler.

This the second “Zoom Where It Happens” event. The first, an all-Black reading of The Golden Girls, took place Sept. 8 and starred Sanaa Lathan, Regina King, Tracee Ellis Ross and Alfre Woodard.
