Antebellum will be released for home video soon.

In the film, successful author Veronica Henley (Janelle Monáe) finds herself trapped in a horrifying reality and must uncover the mind-bending mystery before it’s too late. The film also stars Kiersey Clemons, Gabourey Sidibe, Marque Richardson, Eric Lange, Jena Malone, Jack Huston, Tongayi Chirisa, Robert Aramayo and Lily Cowles.

In an exclusive clip provided to Shadow and Act, Sidibe takes very behind-the-scenes of the film and explains why her character feels like it could be in a different movie completely.
