Dabl Network is commemorating 25 years of Girlfriends with a 42-episode episode marathon Aug. 31 at 6 am/5 am central.

The UPN and The CW series follows four friends who are living through the ups and downs of life in Los Angeles. The series starred Tracee Ellis Ross, Golden Brooks, Persia White and Jill Marie Jones. Girlfriends lasted for eight season, starting Sept. 11, 2000 and running through Feb. 11, 2008.
