Halle Bailey was the first to have the newly imagined Ariel doll in her hand. Sharing the moment on Instagram with her four million followers Bailey expressed how she could barely hold back her excitement while holding the doll, according to Mashable.

“I have something really exciting to reveal to you all. I am going to cry,” she said while holding the doll. “This is the new Little Mermaid doll. I am literally choking up, because this means so much to me, and to have one that looks like me, that’s my favorite Disney character, is very surreal.”

The 22-year-old singer shared how impressed she was with the details of the resemblance between her and the mermaid doll.

“She even has my mole, see?” she said. “The hair and the tail… I’m just stunned, so I don’t quite know what to do with it, but I’m going to steal this and take it home and hide it forever.”
