Halle Berry believes Hollywood has changed for the better thanks to the efforts of the #MeToo movement.

In an interview with Shadow And Act while promoting John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, Berry said that the movement has made it possible for more women to fight for their rights in the industry.

“As women, we’re no longer an afterthought. We have a real seat at the table today,” she said, adding that she’s directing her first film in a few months.

“We have this 50/50 clause now where we’re going to make sure as women that we bring 50 percent of women along and I think we’re going to do it,” she added in relation to a changing industry. “We have men who are supportive of this movement and helping us find our equality. So it is a brand new day.”
