My annual Christmas day post as many of us retire for the weekend to spend time with loved ones; although for others, the next few days will unfold very differently.
By the way, I’m taking a different approach this year and have been recapping the year in black film and TV on the S&A Twitter page over the last week, and will continue to do so through the end of December; so follow S&A on Twitter if you aren’t already. The entire recap is being contained within one single thread, so at the end of the year, I’ll *Storify* the thread and publish. But if you’d like to stay current, you can catch up via this link – https://twitter.com/shadowandact/status/810174180675252224.
From myself, and if I can speak for all the contributors to Shadow And Act, a very Merry Christmas to all of you who celebrate the holiday.
Eat, drink, open presents, talk, hug, kiss, have sex, sleep, argue, fight, have make-up sex, watch movies, listen to music, eat and drink some more, talk into the late hours of the night, be merry, and all those other wonderful things countless folks do around this time of the year.
But if you’re one of those for whom the holiday season isn’t necessarily a “happy” one, or you don’t want to be bothered with it, for whatever reason(s) in each case, you should know that you’re certainly not alone; for those folks, the below video is for you (courtesy of Jay Smooth). Happy Holidays…!
