Netflix is raising its prices!

The streaming service’s standard tier is now $10.99, up from $9.99.

The premium tier, which includes viewing on up to four screens and ultra HD, is now $13.99, up from $11.99.

It’ll only impact new users for now.

A Netflix spokesperson told Mashable that “users will be notified of the new prices based on their billing cycle and will get 30 days notice before the changes takes effect.” They will begin notifying users on October 19.

“From time to time, Netflix plans and pricing are adjusted as we add more exclusive TV shows and movies, introduce new product features and improve the overall Netflix experience to help members find something great to watch even faster,” they said in a statement.

The standard tier went from $8.99 a month to $9.99 last year.
