It’s that time of the month again when Netflix releases its list of films and TV series that will be coming to and leaving the premiere SVOD service during the following month; in this case, that month is September! So if any of the below titles are of interest to you, add them to your watchlists/calendars, noting when they are expected to arrive or exit.
As far as original content, some projects that are debuting include the short doc A Love Song for Latasha, Michelle Buteau: Welcome to Buteaupia and Sophie Okonedo in Ratched.
Two more of Netflix’s acquired iconic Black sitcoms are coming in September, with Sister, Sister on Sept. 1 and Girlfriends later in the month. The final season of Greenleaf is also arriving on Sept. 10. Iconic Black films arriving include Set it Off, Menace II Society, and Barbershop.
