Fox’s Doc follows Dr. Amy Larsen (Molly Parker) as she rebuilds her life after a car crash erased eight years of her memory. The show premiered in January 2025, and now its second season is coming to a close.

Doc Season 2 has seen Amy continue to recover her memories while working on her relationships with those close to her. The season concludes Tuesday with a two-hour event.

Scott Wolf, who plays Dr. Richard Miller on the show, told TVLine the final episodes are “real doozies.”

How many episodes of ‘Doc’ Season 2 remain?

Doc Season 2 consists of 22 episodes and wraps Tuesday with a two-hour finale featuring back-to-back episodes, “Stuck” and “Happy Birthday.”

In “Stuck,” a deadly virus spreads through Westside Hospital, forcing the sixth floor into quarantine as it puts both patients and staff at risk. Richard is infected and becomes seriously ill, setting off the events of “Happy Birthday,” in which Amy is also infected, and the hospital team races to save them both.

“The medical cases are incredible, but there are people within our core group that become at great risk at various points as we move to the end of the season, and not everyone survives,” Wolf said of the final episodes.

The finale also features Emmy Award winner Judd Hirsch as a Holocaust survivor who arrives at the hospital for routine treatment on his 90th birthday when things take a turn, Deadline reported.

“Stuck” and “Happy Birthday” air Tuesday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET on Fox.

What to know about ‘Doc’ Season 3

On March 9, Fox announced that Doc would return for a third season. Like Season 2, the third season will consist of 22 episodes and will air during the 2026-2027 season.

Doc has become a true breakout for Fox, delivering our largest scripted multi-platform audience of the season and building remarkable momentum across Fox, Hulu, Netflix, and internationally — earning it another 22-episode order,” the outlet mentioned Fox Television Network President Michael Thorn said. “That success is a testament to the exceptional creative leadership of Hank Steinberg and Barbie Kligman, our terrific partners at Sony, and the talented Molly Parker, whose deeply nuanced performance gives the series its soul.”

Sony Pictures Television Studios President Katherine Pope added, “We couldn’t be more thrilled to be continuing our partnership with Rob Wade, Michael Thorn, and their amazing teams at Fox. This milestone highlights Doc’s compelling storytelling and standout performances that have resonated with audiences globally. We’re incredibly proud of the exceptional writing from Hank and Barbie, and of Molly Parker’s powerful, nuanced performance at the center of the series. We look forward to building on the show’s continued success in the seasons ahead.”

Will Blair Underwood be in Season 3 of ‘Doc’?

Parker and Wolf are also expected to return, alongside Omar Metwally (Dr. Michael Hamda), Amirah Vann (Dr. Gina Walker), Jon Ecker (Dr. Jake Heller), Anya Banerjee (Dr. Sonya Maitra) and Patrick Walker (Dr. TJ Coleman).
