Shadow and Act has the exclusive trailer debut for the upcoming Tubi original film, Howard High. The Fox-owned free streamer will premiere the film on Feb. 4.
Howard High takes you on a journey with a high school musical group that have to battle a rival school in order to save their arts program. That is not all the students have to battle, because while trying to save the underfunded program, the students are battling issues within themselves and the dynamics of their group.
According to the official description, “Howard High sheds light on the challenges students and school arts programs face in underfunded neighborhoods.”
The project is based on the 2020 miniseries which will be available on Tubi during Black History Month.
Chris Stokes serves as the director of the Footage Films project.
The cast includes Chrissy Stokes, Anthony Lewis. Earanequa Carter, Jarell Houston, Veronika Bozeman, Christian Gonzalez and Kida Burns. The cast also includes Keith Sweat, Marques Houston, Ross Fleming, Hannah Malone, Deonte Jackson, Rayan Lopez, Diany Arias, Asha Franklin and Lindsay Diann.
The film’s original soundtrack will also be available on all streaming platforms as well on February 4.
