BET has been ramping up its new programming for a while, and Thursday, they announced a new reality series, Hustle in Brookyln. 

According to its official description, Hustle in Brooklyn will explore “the social and professional lives of some of Brooklyn’s most sought after and influential personalities- from up and coming hip-hop artists to internationally known DJs to one of RocNation’s protégé’s.”

Alicia Gooding @msgooding – Alicia is a media maven and co-owner of THE CODE PR firm, who has represented a range of talent from entertainers to athletes including Busta Rhymes, Safaree, Erica Mena, social media influencer Fatboy SSE and NFL wide receiver Roger “Otto” Lewis.

Azia Toussaint @azia.iam – As an up and coming rapper, singer, model and designer, there’s nothing creative that Azia CAN’T do. Modeling credits include Cupcake Mafia, Terry Mac and Rock Smith. Azia was also influential in the Yeezy Season 3 shoe design.

Darnell King @aioxoia – As a record producer and engineer, Darnell has worked with artists such as Rick Ross, Lil’ Kim, French Montana, Timbaland, Torey Lanez, Ma$e and more. Dedicated to the music hustle and confident in his ability, Darnell opened his own recording space, Brick House Studios. In addition to running his studio, Darnell also produces for music label RocNation.

Ivy Rivera @theivyrivera – Ivy is a Project Manager at eOne Music and keeps her ear to the ground for the next big star. Currently, she’s working with Lil Kim, Waka Flocka, Maino, Elle Varner, Marsha Ambrosius, and Royce Da 5’9.

Santos Garcia @tosmoney – Santos’ name already rings bells in the industry. He owns the marketing firm, Sense 93, does Marketing and Promotions for Def Jam and is a tour manager for R&B artist, Ne-Yo. Brownsville is home, but Santos’ eyes are set on global expansion.

Eva Evans @evaevanscomedy – This rising comedienne is the true definition of a hustler. She left a corporate job in TV to pursue comedy full time. She was a winner at the 2017 Manhattan Comedy Festival and the only black woman to reach the finals. Occasionally, she guest hosts on Power 105 with DJ Self and the Brooklyn House of Comedy monthly showcase “No Fuckboys Allowed.

Ron “Baggy Large” Walker @baggy.large – Baggy was born into the hustle. Since a young age, when his father was incarcerated, he’s been providing for his family by any means necessary. Now, he’s focused on making noise as a rapper and artist.

Danielle Rosias @dannyduces_ – With an Instagram following of almost 120k, Danielle prides herself on being Instafamous. As an often risqué wardrobe wearing influencer and event host, she knows her sexy sells. She’s using what she has to get what she wants, but that’s not all that defines her.

Jesse Brown @uknojb – This celebrity talent manager for Grammy Award-winning producer $K Music stays busy in artist development, as a program manager for Hitz 101.9 FM radio, and managing his Hip Hop and R&B radio show with cohosts Johnathan Fernandez and Niyah Lee.

Other cast members include: Randy Bowden @randybowdenjr a model who has been seen in Complex, Vice, GQ Style, Nylon and Essence magazine, and done publicity for major fashion/beauty brands like Marie Claire, Diane Von Furstenberg and 3.1 Phillip Lim; Marco Maldonado @_mguapo a Corporate Event Planner with JP Morgan Chase; Twin DJ’s and entrepreneurs TP and Perks @blkidtwins who create epic late-night social experiences for young Brooklyn party goers.
