Issa Rae is a queen on Sesame Street!
According to Entertainment Weekly, Rae will debut on Sesame Street as a queen who needs help gathering bricks to build a play castle for her daughter. Elmo, Rosita, Cookie Monster and human neighbor Chris (Chris Knowings) have to help her find the building materials she needs.
Rae isn’t only playing the queen–she’s also voicing her Muppet princess daughter, who is excited for her new castle.
Rae also posted about the episode on Instagram, writing, “Bringing them bricks to the streets tomorrow!”
Rae’s episode will premiere Thursday, Dec. 10 on HBO and PBS.
