If you know Jaden Smith, you know he’s fearlessly fashion-forward. The 24-year-old has never shied away from making a statement, whether in his musical pursuits or fashion choices.

The California native made the trek to Seoul, South Korea, last week to attend the Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2023 Show. The Jamsugyo Bridge was closed for 24 hours to display Nicolas Ghesquière’s most recent creations. The singer was one of many Louis Vuitton ambassadors in attendance.

Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton’s creative director, said he was inspired by Smith, who starred in his 2016 SS16 womenswear campaign.

He represents a generation that has assimilated the codes of true freedom, one that is free of manifestos and questions about gender…,” Ghesquière said. “He’s found an instinctive balance that makes his extraordinary attitude a new norm.”

Smith professed to Hypebeast his admiration for the French house’s products.

“I’ve been going to the LV store since I was 12, admiring the art, craftsmanship and heritage [of the brand],” he said.

While on his trip, Smith donned pieces from the brand’s recent collection with Yayoi Kusama. He posted a carousel of photos to his Instagram, where he even showed off Kusama’s new Bandoulière Keepall 55.

The singer, coming off his latest performance at Coachella with his sister, Willow, rocked his brand, MSFTSrep, while in Seoul. As he checked out a Louis Vuitton store in South Korea, Smith was spotted wearing a painted black denim jacket over a white button-down and black tie, a matching painted pleated skirt, black pants and white sneakers.

From photos on his Instagram, Smith was a fan of the new Louis Vuitton designs, as he left the shop with handfuls of bags filled with goodies.

The trip ended with a lavish after-party, where Smith delivered an energetic performance alongside the K-pop group Le Sserafim.
