John Legend is hiring! The singer-turned-King of Christmas is on the lookout for actors for Jingle Jangle, a Netflix Christmas film coming from Legend’s production company, Get Lifted.

Legend posted the casting call on his Twitter page, writing, “#GetLiftedFilmCo is looking for a young female lead to star in a musical feature film we’re producing – if you know someone who would be perfect for the role submit their application to [email protected]!”

The film, which will debut in 2020, will stell the story of a toymaker’s magical new toy that could change Christmas forever. According to the official description:

“A cobblestone world comes to life in the event holiday musical tale of an embattled toymaker, his precocious granddaughter, and a magical invention, that if they can get it to work in time for the holidays, could change their lives forever.”

The film will be written and directed by Almost Christmas writer David E. Talbert and produced by Talbert along with Legend. Forest Whitaker will star as the toymaker, Jeronicus Jangle.

Legend, a newly-minted EGOT winner thanks to his Emmy win for NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar: Live in Concert, has been taking Christmas by storm this year. He has starred alongside his wife, model Chrissy Teigen, in his own NBC Christmas special, A Legendary Christmas with John and Chrissy. He has also released his a Christmas album under the same name.
