American streamer Kai Cenat started his streaming career in 2018 and is now the most-watched streamer in the year’s first quarter.
According to Essentially Sports, a curated list by Streams Charts revealed the most watched Twitch streamers in the USA in the first half of 2023. Cenat took the No. 1 spot with 70.81 million hours of watch time. He achieved this by streaming for 1,187 hours and 57 minutes.
The gamer world is growing tremendously with the help of streaming. Thousands of gamers are playing live for their supportive viewers, which helps increase their watch time.
Cenat’s growing audience and watch time comes from streaming on multiple platforms, not only on Twitch but also on YouTube, streaming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Roblox and Fortnite.
The runner-up is Tarik, a streamer for the Esports team the Sentinels, who holds the second position with 45.15 million hours of watch time. Cenat won the streamer of the year award at the 12th Streamy Awards in 2022 and again this year.
