Expanding his move behind-the-scenes, Kevin Hart is producing a new NBC comedy along with America Ferrera that will star Anjelah Johnson.

The project, currently titled All Fancy, is inspired by Johnson’s life.

It’ll center on Veronica Jimenez (Johnson), “a newly successful 30-something Mexican-American woman who often goes against cultural and social expectations, creating chaos and comedy within her marriage, business and extended family.”

Emilia Serrano will write and executive produce, and Johnson will also executive produce.

Hart, through his HartBeat Productions, will executive produce along with John Cheng and Carli Haney, also of HartBeat. Ferrera will executive produce through her Take Fountain Production.

Johnson is most known for her work on Mad TV, particuarly as the character Bon Qui Qui.

Ferrera currently stars in NBC’s Superstore.
