Christopher Meyer has been tapped for what’s said to be a “key role” in the Showtime series, The Affair.

The Affair stars Dominic West, Ruth Wilson, Maura Tierney and Joshua Jackson. The series explores the emotional and psychological effects of an affair that destroyed two marriages, and the crime that brings these individuals back together. Season four finds Noah (West), Helen (Tierney), Alison (Wilson) and Cole (Jackson) in their own orbits, alienated from each other, spinning further and further away from where they all began. Every character is involved in a new relationship, forcing them each to decide if they’re ready and willing to leave the past behind for good – a season about new beginnings, tragic ends and the ever-elusive possibility of forgiveness.

Meyer will play Anton Gatewood, a “defiant but brilliant high school student of Noah. Caught between his parents’ expectations, Anton struggles to find his own sense of self amid episodes of self-sabotage and doubt.”

It was just announced recently that Sanaa Lathan would also be joining Season 4 of the show in a recurring role.

He most notably starred in the 2016 film, Kicks, alongside Mahershala Ali and Kofi Siriboe. He’s also had recurring roles on The Fosters, Wayward Pines, NCIS: Los Angeles and General Hospital.
