Star Trek and Scott Mescudi (aka Kid Cudi) are set to launch an out-of-this-world collaboration as part of the Boldly Be campaign.

This collaboration is scheduled to kick off on Oct. 12, coinciding with the beginning of New York Comic Con. The exciting launch includes the release of an original Kid Cudi song, inspired by the iconic Star Trek franchise, titled “Heaven’s Galaxy.”

“Heaven’s Galaxy” is produced by his longtime collaborator Dot Da Genius, and is deeply influenced by Cudi’s own admiration for Star Trek. This track will be available for streaming on all platforms starting Oct. 12.

Fans also can get in on a music and gaming collaboration between Star Trek, Kid Cudi and Fortnite. As the official description states, “STAR TREK X KID CUDI: MIRROR MAYHEM brings Kid Cudi into the worlds of both “Star Trek” and Fortnite to perform his brand-new “Star Trek”-themed music collaboration, ‘Heaven’s Galaxy,’ as well as never-before-heard songs from his new album, INSANO. Boldly Go as you partner with Captain Skyles (Kid Cudi) on a mission to uncover the source of a sonic anomaly that threatens the peaceful planet Vada. Beam down to explore, discover and defend a world these forces are threatening to tear apart. It’s up to you and other Starfleet recruits to work together with Captain Skyles to uncover the source of this musical malady and restore the harmony of Vada while there’s still time! STAR TREK X KID CUDI: MIRROR MAYHEM will launch later this month.”

Fans can anticipate visiting the Star Trek x Kid Cudi booth at NYCC, where they can explore a capsule collection and get a sneak peek of the immersive Fortnite gaming experience. The booth will be open from Oct. 12 to 15, located at booth 2653 on the Javits show floor.

There’s also the Kid Cudi x Star Trek capsule collection, which draws inspiration from the iconic franchise and features phrases like “Live Long and Rage.” It includes a range of apparel such as tees, crewnecks, hoodies, a custom button-up t-shirt and a vibrant leather varsity jacket adorned with intricate chenille and embroidery details. The collection will make its debut at New York Comic Con on Oct. 12, with an exclusive preorder window for attendees. Following that, the collection will be globally available online starting Oct. 16.

The Boldly Be campaign takes inspiration from Star Trek’s core ethos of “Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations” (IDIC), the foundation of Vulcan philosophy emphasizing that the vast array of variables in life creates truth, beauty and strength.
