E! has a new series debuting that focuses on the kids of famous parents like you’ve never seen them before.
The official description of Relatively Famous: Ranch Rules:
Eight celebrity offspring come together to live and work as ranch hands for four weeks in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, hoping to prove to themselves, their parents, and the world that they are more than their last names. Each episode throws the cast into fish-out-of-water situations and hilarious misadventures as they work to restore and reopen Saddleback Ranch to the public after a year of shutdown and loss due to the pandemic.
The cast includes Ebie (daughter of the late Eazy-E), Jasmin Lawrence (father Martin Lawrence), Myles O’Neal (parents Shaquille and Shaunie O’Neal), Hana Giraldo (mom Pat Benatar,) Austin Gunn (dad Billy Gunn,) Taylor “Tay” Hasselhoff (dad David Hasselhoff,) Redmond Parker (dad Ray Parker Jr.,) and Harry James Thornton (dad Billy Bob Thornton)
While there, the cast will try to define themselves and their identities outside of their parents’ shadows. From sheering sheep to inseminating cows and corraling pigs, these eight children have their work cut out for them.
Myles has no problem letting it be known that ranch life is not his cup of tea. “ I’ve literally never done any of this s— in my life,” he says in the trailer. “I’m used to having a chef.”
Life as the Hollywood legacies know it has changed for 30 days. “These guys have super famous parents,” says one of the ranch owners. “But they’re going to have to step it up.”
