In celebration of director Agnieszka Smoczyńska’s newly-released film The Silent Twins, stars Letitia Wright and Tamara Lawrence wrote a companion piece for the movie entitled Kiin. 

Spanning over nine minutes, Kiin serves as a companion piece to the biographical drama The Silent Twins, which tells the true story of siblings June and Jennifer Gibbons. Kiin was directed by filmmaker and acclaimed journalist Fenn O’Meally.

The Silent Twins is the true story of twin sisters who only communicated with one another. As a result, they created a rich, fascinating world to escape the reality of their own lives. Based on the best-selling book The Silent Twins, the film stars Letitia Wright and Tamara Lawrance. Wright and Lawrence will play the respective roles as June and Jennifer.

Aside from Wright, the film is produced by Klaudia Śmieja-Rostworowska, Joshua Horsfield, Ben Pugh, Ewa Puszczyńska, Anita Gou and Alicia Van Couvering. Nadine Marshall also stars in the film.

Under Focus Features, The Silent Twins was released in theaters nationwide on September 16.
