Killer Relationship with Faith Jenkins is taking on a brutal case of a scorned lover-turned-murderer in its upcoming episode.
The episode, “If I Can’t Have You,” a woman named Griselda Cassamajor is shot with a man, Daniel Rivera, inside a massage parlor in Orlando, FL in 2007. As the logline states, “A charismatic young woman meets a dynamic and handsome man at an Orlando nightclub and it seems like a perfect match – but a secret marriage and a lover who just can’t let go spells doom for two innocent victims.”
Both were employees there, but it wasn’t known if they were in a relationship, or if the murderer intended for both of them to be killed. Even worse, the police can’t find any pertinent clues regarding the murder. In the exclusive clip below, detectives walk through their disbelief at being unable to find anything to help them with the case.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, the Haitian-American community had to be convinced to talk to the police about what they knew about the case. After overcoming their suspicion regarding police, detectives were able to deduce that Cassamajor’s ex, Drinel Joseph from Homestead, FL, was the culprit. The motive: anger at their breakup.
Sadly, Cassamajor was killed because of it. Just as saddening is that Rivera was killed just for being in the room. Joseph was arrested on two counts of first-degree murder.
Killer Relationship with Faith Jenkins airs Sundays at 7/6c on Oxygen.
