A Lando Calrissian limited series is in early development at Disney+. The announcement was made at the Disney Investor Day on Thursday by Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy.
Justin Simien, the director of Dear White People, will create the series. There is no word if Donald Glover or Billy Dee Williams could be returning for it. However, there have been rumors that Glover could be coming back.
The galaxy’s favorite scoundrel, Lando Calrissian, will return in Lando, a brand-new event series for @DisneyPlus. Justin Simien (@JSim07) is in the early stages of developing the project.

It is one of many Star Wars series the streamer has ordered two The Mandalorian spinoffs, including Ahsoka, starring Rosario Dawson.
