Lauryn Alisa McClain has been cast in the upcoming horror thriller film, Haunt.
She will star with Katie Stevens, Will Brittain, Andrew Caldwell and Shazi Raja. It is produced by Eil Roth.
It’s description, “The story takes place on Halloween, when a group of friends encounter an ‘extreme’ haunted house that promises to feed on their darkest fears. The night turns deadly as they come to the horrifying realization that some nightmares are real.”
This is arguably one of McClain’s biggest roles to-date after her debut in the film Daddy’s Little Girls with her older sister, Sierra (who recurred on Empire last season and was in the pilot for Lena Waithe’s The Chi before recasting) and young sister, China Anne (most known for Disney Channel’s A.N.T. Farm, will star in The CW’s Black Lightning).
She also currently has a role in the latest incarnation of the Step Up franchise, the YouTube Red series, Step Up: High Water.
