The 1980s NBC sitcom The Facts of Life, which starred a young Kim Fields, is getting a reboot thanks to Leonardo DiCaprio and Jessica Biel. The reboot doesn’t have a network yet and the hunt is on for a writer.

According to The Hollywood Reporter’s sources, DiCaprio and Biel are in early talks to executive produce the sitcom via DiCaprio’s Appian Way and Biel’s Ocean Films. Sony TV hasn’t given any comment on the potential sitcom.

The news comes as other networks have opened the floodgates for rebooting classic sitcoms. Of course, there’s ABC’s Roseanne, which has undergone a dramatic change after its star, Roseanne Barr, was fired for a racist tweet directed at former Obama staffer Valerie Jarrett. There’s also a reboot of ALF underway at Warner Bros. TV, with the search for a home network ongoing. Netflix has One Day at a Time, the reboot of one of Norman Lear’s classic sitcoms. He has also re-upped his deal with Sony, which could mean more projects from him might be on the way, but as Lear has clarified, he’s not looking to reboot any of his classic shows.
