Throwing objects on stage while artists perform has been the latest monstrosity of live shows, and Lil Nas X, who performed at Lollapalooza in Stockholm experienced it himself.

During his live set, a concert attendee threw a faux-vagina sex toy on stage. Lil Nas X’s DJ paused the set briefly as the Old Town Road artist went over to inspect the bizarre object.

“Who threw they p***y on stage?” Lil Nas X gasped and asked the crowd.

The object seemed to be an anatomical replica of the female anatomy, and in keeping with Nas’ quick wit, the rapper’s Twitter handle was changed to “p***y” on Monday morning.

Although Lil Nas X’s incident wasn’t as dangerous as Bebe Rexha or Ava Max’s in recent weeks, the 24-year-old was still taken off-guard and jumped back to avoid a possible injury.

Bebe Rexha was hit with a flying cellphone mid-performance and had to end the show due to a black eye and needing stitches. Additionally, Ava Max, had a face-to-face encounter during her live performance when a “fan” who got onstage slapped her and injured the inside of her eye due to scratches from the slap.

With these reoccurring incidents, it wouldn’t be a surprise if security took extra measures to ensure artists’ safety when performing. Or maybe, concert venues will forbid cellphones and any external objects because of the ongoing attacks.
