Apple TV has released the first teaser trailer for Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, the upcoming dark comedic thriller starring Tatiana Maslany and Jake Johnson. It is from creator and showrunner David J. Rosen.
The half-hour series, which will have 10 episodes, will debut May 20 on Apple TV with two episodes, and it will have new episodes weekly on Wednesdays until July 15.
What’s ‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’ about?
Here’s the description:
Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed follows newly divorced mom Paula (Maslany) as she falls down a dangerous rabbit hole of blackmail, murder and youth soccer. Convinced she witnessed a crime – while simultaneously struggling through a custody battle and an identity crisis – Paula begins her own investigation, one that could unravel a greater conspiracy while also holding the keys to rebuilding her family and sense of self.

The cast also includes Brandon Flynn, Murray Bartlett, Jessy Hodges, Jon Michael Hill, Charlie Hall, Kiarra Hamagami Goldberg, Nola Wallace and Dolly De Leon.
The Apple Studios series is written and executive produced by Rosen and directed and executive produced by David Gordon Green. Other executive producers are Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon for Genre Films, and the series is under their first-look deal with Apple TV. Additional executive producers are Bard Dorros for Anonymous Content, as well as Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns and Elise Henderson for Counterpart Studios.
