Michael B. Jordan has partnered with Turner Sports and Invesco QQQ to exclusively present the newly named Invesco QQQ Legacy Classic. The event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 18 and was previously announced as the Hoop Dreams Classic. 

Held at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, Invesco QQQ Legacy Classic will be a Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) men’s college basketball showcase. Colleges and Universities featured include Hampton University versus North Carolina Central University – and Howard University versus North Carolina A&T University competing which will air on TNT.

Also involved in orchestrating the event is WME Sports, the sports division of WME, an Endeavor Company, Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE) and Scout Sports and Entertainment, a division of Horizon Media.

Per the official press release, The Invesco QQQ Legacy Classic will also feature “an immersive cultural experience highlighting additional elements of HBCU life and culture, including a band showcase, a live musical performance, college and career opportunities and more. Additional ancillary programming will be announced in the coming weeks ahead of the event.”
