Good Morning America co-host Michael Strahan has had much to celebrate these past few weeks as a proud “Girl Dad” now to two high school graduates — his twin teen daughters, Isabella Strahan and Sophia Strahan. The former NFL star flashed his signature tooth-gapped grin in a series of posts shared on Instagram to gush over the 18-year-olds’ achievements and share their postgraduate plans.

The girls went to different high schools and graduated a few weeks apart. Nonetheless, Michael dedicated photos to each daughter upon their graduation with sweet captions.

The first of the pair to graduate was Sophia, who looked elegant in a white mini-dress with puffed sleeves under her academic regalia from Trinity School in New York City. Michael announced Sophia’s milestone accomplishment on Instagram, adding that the teen was headed to Duke University next.

Michael once told PEOPLE magazine that Sophia was “always asking questions, very curious” growing up.

Isabella was the second to don the cap and gown, which Michael also took to the ‘Gram on Wednesday to honor her.

Isabella beamed in an off-shoulder white dress, holding a bouquet of white roses as she posed with her diploma from Convent of the Sacred Heart beside her grinning dad, the pair throwing peace signs at the camera.

“Peace out high school and on to USC!!!” he wrote. “So proud of you, @isabellastrahan!!! Intelligent, beautiful, and hardworking!! I can’t wait to continue to watch you shine!! Love you! ❤️❤️ #GirlDad.”

Michael told New York Family Isabella was the calmer twin. “I’d say she’s more playful, very chill, never gets very upset or fired up,” he said. “She’s very ‘it is what it is.'”

The festivities brought Strahan and his ex-wife together following their high-profile split. Michael married Jean Muggli in 1999, but the couple divorced in 2006. The two were embroiled in a bitter custody battle for years following the separation.

The Pyramid host’s comments were flooded with messages from fans, followers and colleagues.

“#GirlDad win!! Congratulations, Sophia!” Good Morning America co-host, Whit Johnson, commented.

“Beautiful family. Congratulations, grads!!,” ABC’s Deborah Roberts wrote.

“Aww congrats!! So amazing! 🙌🏼🥳✨,” Nikki Bella commented under the post of Isabella.

Michael will officially be an empty-nester now that Isabella and Sophia are off to college.

“I cannot wait for them to go to [college], but it’s actually a bittersweet thing,” Michael told Yahoo last December. “The bitter part is, of course, I’m gonna miss my kids when they’re gone. But the sweet part is that they get a chance to grow and become adults.”

Michael also shares a daughter and son with his first wife, Wanda Hutchins: 31-year-old Tanit and 28-year-old Michael Jr.

Congratulations to Isabella and Sophia! It’s clear their “Girl Dad” will continue to be their biggest fan as he watches them take on this next chapter.
