Cast from the four series in the franchise (New York, Atlanta, Hollywood and Atlanta) are on a trip to San Diego where the star-studded cast “continues the tradition of celebrating “Black Joy during an action-packed fun and revealing, week-long gathering full of friendship, foe-ship, secrets, flings and forgiveness.”
This season’s cast includes the infamous Creep Squad: Peter Gunn, Cisco Rosada and Rich Dollarz; Amina Buddafly, Tara, Cyn Santana, Jonathan Fernandez, Juelz Santana, Kimbella, Erica Mena, Safaree, Bobby Lytes, Zelle Swag, Brooke Valentine, Marcus Black, Shekinah Jo, Stevie J and Mimi Faust.
Will the week be a week of great fellowship or will drama take the reigns? Sometimes intentions seem like great ideas until stuff hits the fans.
Faust, the Atlanta OG, is a part of this season and we talked to her, discussing everything, including therapy, her becoming a momager, parenting tips as well as her new project.
If you have ever watched an episode of LHHATL, you know that Faust exhibits a level of decorum and calmness in the most challenging situations where losing one’s cool would be acceptable. Knowing the combination of characters on this series, we asked if Faust would be maintaining the cool we have come to expect and appreciate from her.
“You’ll see an even calmer me,” she shared. “I’ve been to therapy and have worked on my triggers and inner peace.” The television personality also seems to be in a place of positivity and light.
She shares that she and her life coach have a project entitled, “Peace Is Priceless,” where they discuss what peace may be for various individuals. It isn’t a one-stop shop of candles and crystals. She explained, “Peace may be financial for someone, having their finances together may bring someone peace… it’s different for us all”,’
Faust is an open book and does not shy away from talkiing about her life. She lives it on her terms. She shares an adorable daughter, Eva, with castmate and producer Stevie J. The two have had their issues, however, Faust has been able to develop a co-parenting relationship with him.
When asked about her tips, Faust explains that Eva is what it most important. “Stevie and I focus on Eva. As far as tips, communication is key. Not just in co-parenting, but in all relationships in general,” Faust states. “You have to really communicate.”
A busy Faust shares that amongst the many hats she wears, she will be wearing a new one – momager. Her daughter has the “it” factor. Faust describes a photoshoot where Eva without direction or instruction killed the shoot.
“And she is posing!” Faust said, mimicking the poses Eva did add that she continued “without any direction or guidance.”
“I’ve done the sports thing, but she shines in art…anything where she can be creative. She’s a character.”
